It is with great sorrow that we reported the death of Bary Bailey in 2024.
Barry was a Life Member of our club. He was a previous hard working Vice President, and a long time Committee Member, also a very good and successful grower of quality cymbidiums.
Barry was always larger than life, involved in everything and most knowledgeable about anything to do with orchids! He is sorely missed by the committee and club.
VAle Ben knobben
It is with great sorrow that we reported the death of Ben Knobben in 2022.
Ben was a Life Member of our club. He was a previous hard working Registrar of Judges, and a long time Committee Member, also a very good and successful grower of quality cymbidiums.
Over the last 12 months or so, Ben suffered from a very serious health issue, and had two very major medical operations in the last months of his life. He is sorely missed by the committee and club.
